Get to know me
My (evolving) design principles
Design fewer, better products.
Design with thoughtfulness, integrity, and responsibility.
Great products should have purpose, utility and be aesthetic.
Be open-minded to diversity of opinions, motivations, behaviors, and solutions.
What I do best

I have 10 years of experience collaborating with teams and working cross-functionally to achieve professional and business goals.

I've learned how to manage relationships judiciously and empathetically to drive positive outcomes.
A strong parallel between my past career and product design are asking thoughtful, probing questions to identify people's pain points and motivations.

Identifying the root of a problem, understanding human motivations and using those insights to drive my decisions are engrained in my thought process.

I am infinitely curious and practice a growth mindset.

If you ever have a conversation with me, you'll find that I am usually the one asking you questions rather than talking about myself. I am comfortable being uncomfortable, eager to learn, and proactively seek feedback to improve and evolve continuously.
i live to
appreciate what nature has to offer.
explore the unfamiliar.
collect experiences, not things.
embrace change and challenge the status quo.
How I got here
2019
I had been reevaluating my career for a couple of years (Do I want to work in sales for the rest of my life?) and wanted to pursue my innate interests in a creative field. I reached out to interior design firms in the Bay Area to network with designers and started working with a firm in my spare time to get my feet wet in design.

After being a B2B sales professional for almost 10 years, I quit my cushy tech job and started working with that designer full-time.
2020
Covid-19 turned our world upside down, and shelter-in-place orders put all interior design projects on hold. I used my free time to take a lot of online courses, one of them being a UX design course, and quickly fell in fascination with it. This led me to jump into a UX design bootcamp with DesignLab full-time.
2021
After hundreds of hours of hard work, 2 successful client projects, and 5 months later, I completed the bootcamp and am eager to fully transition into this next stage of my career as a product designer.
